YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Inside Scott Wagner’s recycling facility at Penn Waste, the state senator did the honors:
“My distinct is honored to welcome the next Vice President of the United States, Governor Mike Pence.”
Pence called Hillary Clinton a recycled candidate.
“At a time when America is crying out for something new and different, the other party has come along with a candidate with the most predictable of names and the most stale of agendas,” he told the crowd.
Lisa Patton is a Trump volunteer who owns Midstate businesses. She doesn’t buy that Trump is offensive to women.
“I’m insulted that people should vote for Hillary because she’s a woman. That insults me. That’s insulting to my intelligence,” Patton said.
Make “The Donald” the president and Pence promised a better economy, a more conservative Supreme Court, and a stronger military.
“America needs to be strong for the world to be safe, and Donald Trump will lead on the world’s stage from the first day he becomes President of the United States,” he said.
Lots of promises. Lots of applause and, of course, the signature close:
“We will make America great again. Let’s go get it done, Pennsylvania.”
