Yesterday was the third straight day of temperatures in the mid 80s. Today will be the warmest day yet as thermometers will likely reach into the upper 80s ahead of a cold front that will pass through the state tonight. Expect clouds to be on the increase late today but the front should not bring any rainfall to our region. A few showers will be possible today north of I-80, but that’s about it. Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy with lows dropping into the lower 60s.
Tonight’s front will bring a fall-like cool down for the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the 70s with lows in the 50s! There will also be a breeze on Saturday behind the front, but on the whole the weekend looks comfortable and pleasant.
Next week starts seasonably cool, but uncertainty increases as we move into the last few days of the month. Some model guidance suggests plenty of clouds (and some rain too) that will limit us from getting too warm. Other guidance suggests the warm and dry conditions continue. We will start to learn more specifics over the weekend as some guidance suggests a rather damp pattern Tuesday-Thursday next week. Stay tuned!
