September is now the 2nd warmest (to date) on record with more heat expected for the rest of the week. Highs temperatures peak in the mid to upper 80s both today and tomorrow with continued sunshine and relatively comfortable humidity. A cold front drop through Pennsylvania late Friday and bring cooler, more fall-like temperatures for the weekend. This front will not provide any rain as it crosses the region, but it will produce breezy conditions and daytime highs in the 70s for Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will drop into the 50s for more comfortable sleeping weather.
The cooler and more autumn-like feel will continue into next week with little chances for measurable rainfall in the extended forecast.
