CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A driver was taken to a hospital after a car crashed into a home this afternoon in South Middleton Township.

The homeowner, Kelly Hart, told ABC27 News her son was sleeping in the house but wasn’t harmed. She said her son has been cancer free for three years but has some hearing difficulties. She said he slept through the crash and was awakened when someone banged on the door.

Hart said her family will be out of the home for at least three days. Once the house is secured, they will be allowed to go inside to get some belongings.
