Amaranth is a grain that can be used for cooking, but also for crafting. It grows easily in most of the United States and can be found growing wild in many states.
“Growing heirloom varieties from seed is very easy. Today, I am utilizing a wild brownish Amaranth and a green heirloom variety of Love Lies Bleeding. Hopi Red Dye, Dreadlocks, Calaloo and Elephant Head are other good choices,” tells Amy Renea, author and blogger.
Today, Amy showed us how to make a decorative wreath from Amaranth.
