Bomb threat leads to second evacuation of Eastern York Middle School in three days

WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa (WHTM) – For the second time in a week, Eastern York Middle School was evacuated because of a bomb threat.

According to school officials, a written bomb threat was found on Thursday morning. Students were evacuated from the school at 746 Cool Creek Road to the Eastern York High School Performing Arts Center at approximately 11:39.

Police checked the building and determined it was safe. Students and staff returned to the school shortly before 2pm.


On Tuesday, a written threat also forced the school’s evacuation. After a search of the building, police determined there was no threat to students.
