CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Carlisle police said new evidence is bringing them closer to finding a suspect in the murder of a man inside an American Legion.
Daniel “DJ” Harris Jr. was seated at a table inside the Haines Stackfield American Legion, in the 100 block of West Penn Street, when he was shot and killed in the early morning of June 11.
Police said there were more than 20 people inside the legion at the time of the shooting.
Police said they are still actively working on the case with state police and federal authorities. They said they have recently found additional surveillance evidence that has advanced their case.
Cumberland County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the fatal shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (855) 628-8477.
