Harrisburg police seek person of interest in shooting


HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Harrisburg police are looking for a “person of interest” in connection with a shooting incident that injured a bystander.

Officers responded to the area of 18th and Mulberry streets just before noon Wednesday. Police say a man was firing a handgun at someone from inside a vehicle. The intended target was not hit and fled.

One person walking down the street, however, was shot in the leg. That person was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

Police have named Tristan Rogers as a person of interest in the case.

Anyone with information on Rogers’ whereabouts or other details about the incident is asked to call police at 717-255-3181.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
