Firearm, jewelry stolen from Carlisle home


CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Carlisle police are investigating a burglary in which a pistol and jewelry were stolen.

A resident in the 400 block of Arch Street reported to police she first noticed a jar with about $30 in change missing from her home on Sept. 10. A few days later, the resident discovered her pistol was not where she left it and $700 in jewelry was also not there.

The victim told police she keeps her doors locked and there were no signs of forced entry.
