The idea for the Juniata Mennonite School Sale came about in the kitchen of a couple parents in the late 1970s.
“This is our largest fundraiser for the school, and the highlights – such as students in grades K-4 going on the platform to sell their handmade crafts,” tells Becky Arnold.
“It brings together the school with the community, and it lets us serve them as they aid the school. It’s also a great time for JMS parents and families to get to know one another as they work side by side.”
The sale will take place Oct 7 and 8 at the Lost Creek Community Park and McAlisterville Fire Hall.
