CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Wilson College is beginning a new school year with the largest student body in its 147-year history.
The Franklin County liberal arts college began the 2016-2017 academic year with 1,098 students enrolled for the fall semester, a seven percent increase over last year’s enrollment.
Wilson also realized a huge increase in its popular graduate study program. The 350-grad students enrolled this semester is a 50-percent jump over graduate student enrollment in 2014.
Wilson president Barbara Mistick said the growth brings excitement to the Chambersburg campus.
