Police: Man stole from vehicles in Lower Paxton Twp.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police arrested a man over the weekend for allegedly entering vehicles in a Dauphin County neighborhood.

Officers with the Lower Paxton Township Police Department were called to Spring Knoll Drive around 1:30 a.m. Saturday for a report of someone going through unlocked cars.

Police say they found Ferdinand Egbo, 21, entering vehicles and took him into custody after a brief struggle.

Egbo admitted to entering several vehicles in the area and had stolen items in his possession, according to police.

Charges of theft from motor vehicles, loitering and prowling and resisting arrest were filed against Egbo. He was arraigned and committed to Dauphin County Prison.
