2 arrested for robbery in Lebanon

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say they arrested two suspects just minutes after a robbery in Lebanon over the weekend.

Zakee Holmes, 33, of Philadelphia, and Gregory Jefferson, 35, of Lebanon, are accused of robbing another man Sunday afternoon in the 500 block of Cumberland Street.

Police said the pair verbally threatened the man that they had a gun. The victim was not injured.

Officers searched the area and found Holmes and Jefferson in the 100 block of North Seventh Street. Authorities said they matched a description of the suspects, the victim identified them as the robbers, and Jefferson had the victim’s property.

Both were jailed in the county prison on charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, simple assault, theft, and receiving stolen property. Bail was set at $100,000 each.
