Safe driving program teaches road etiquette to teens

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM)- Midstate teens were put to the test with the Tire Rack Street Survival event at the Sun Motor Cars Saturday afternoon.

The teenagers were put in real life situations in their own car to learn how to avoid accidents and stay safe on the road.

Event organizer Ken Trayer said, “The more kids we can get on the roads that are safe drivers, as opposed to just getting what little they can through the school programs, the better off we’ll all be.”

Tire Rack Street Survival has been doing the teen driving school for 14 years.
