STEELTON, Pa. (WHTM) – A man told police he was kidnapped and robbed while visiting a woman he met through an online dating website.

Steelton police say the kidnapping victim told officers he met Josephine Kiger through okcupid.com a few weeks before the incident last Friday. He told police Kiger lured him to her home to talk about their relationship.

While the two were talking in the home, Kiger yelled “Now!” to signal Talisha Brandao and John Kiger to come up from the basement with a baseball bat, police said.

The victim reported that several items were stolen from him before he was forced into a vehicle and taken to his place of work, a convenience store, so the trio could get into the safe.

Once at the store, the victim was told to withdraw money from his bank account. He then escaped and called police.

All three suspects were arrested and charged with robbery, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, simple assault and intimidating a victim.
