Police: 3 passed counterfeit money at Cumberland County mall


CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for help to identify three people suspected of passing counterfeit cash at the Capital City Mall.

2-horzLower Allen Township police released surveillance photos of the suspects on Friday. They said the man and two women in the photos passed fake $20, $50, and $100 bills at the Macy’s and J.C. Penney stores on Aug. 19.

Police said most of the bills had the same serial numbers.

Anyone who can name the suspects should call Lower Allen police through Cumberland County Dispatch at (717) 238-9676 and reference case #LA-16-05591. You may also call Cumberland County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-628-8477.
