DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster County man is facing charges after a high-speed motorcycle chase with police.

Cody Boyer, 22, is charged with fleeing and eluding and three traffic violations for the Aug. 29 incident.

East Cocalico Township police said an officer attempted to stop two motorcycles shortly before midnight in the area of Colonel Howard Boulevard and North Reading Road.

The motorcycles reached speeds around 140 mph while weaving in and out of traffic, so the officer ended the pursuit.

Boyer and the other suspect later admitted to operating the motorcycles, police said. Additionally, Boyer did not have a motorcycle license and his vehicle’s registration was expired.

A court date for Boyer has not been set.
