GRANTVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) — Charges are pending against a Dauphin County man accused of brandishing a handgun to a passing school bus.

Joel Kramer, 18, of Grantville was arrested Friday afternoon at the intersection of Saginaw and Houston Streets in the Chesapeake mobile home park in East Hanover Township. According to Pennsylvania State Police, a bus driver became fearful for herself and her young passengers when Kramer showed the gun, which was later determined to be a BB gun.

The driver left the area and took the children to East Hanover Elementary School, part of the Lower Dauphin School District. Parents were sent a phone message describing a “police incident” in the area, and requesting that children be picked up from school.

No one was injured.
