Lancaster man facing drug charges after police search home

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is in Lancaster County Prison after police say a search turned up a number of drugs in his city home, including heroin.

Agents with the Pennsylvania State Probation and Parole Office searched an apartment Tuesday in the 300 block of South Queen Street.

Saoul Anwar Abdullah, 35, is the resident of that apartment.

Lancaster police say Abdullah is facing a number of drug possession charges after the search revealed 29 bags of heroin in the home, as well as bags of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, synthetic marijuana and marijuana. OxyContin pills, wax paper sleeves for packaging heroin, a small scale, marijuana pipes and $740.00 in cash were also found.

Three other items that were consistent with methamphetamine, MDMA, and LSD were also discovered, according to police.

Abdullah’s bail was set at $400,000.
