RAYSTOWN LAKE, Pa. (WHTM) – Bicyclists who like to tackle Pennsylvania’s mountain trails have a new place to practice their hobby.
The Raystown Mountain Bike Skills park opened this week in Huntingdon County.
The two-acre park was designed to help cyclists practice the skills they need to handle the rugged terrain the trails throw at them. The new bike park, which was developed under the direction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, features two acres of vertical twists and turns that help riders prepare for mountain travel.
Raystown Lake is the largest lake entirely within the borders of Pennsylvania and is a home to year-round recreational activities.
