Autopsies confirm homicides in York County home invasion


FAWN GROVE, Pa. (WHTM) – Autopsies have been completed on a man and woman who were fatally shot in a southern York County home.

Coroner Pam Gay’s office said Thursday’s autopsies confirmed 31-year-old Foday Cheeks died of multiple gunshot wounds and 26-year-old Danielle Taylor died from a gunshot wound to her neck. The manner of their deaths is homicide.

Cheeks and Taylor were shot and killed during a home invasion Tuesday night at Cheeks’ house in the 700 block of Brown Road in Fawn Township. Taylor lived in Spring Grove.

Paul Henry, 40, of Manchester, and Veronique Henry, 32, of York, are jailed on charges including criminal homicide and conspiracy, robbery, aggravated assault, and burglary.

Two other women and two boys, ages 12 and 14, were in the house at the time of the shooting. The witnesses told police that after the shooting, the intruders took their cell phones, ordered them to keep their heads down, and searched the house for drugs.

Editor’s Note: After this article was published, authorities announced Veronique Henry was found dead in her cell at the York County Prison.
