FAWN GROVE, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say they’ve arrested two people for the shooting deaths of two others during a home invasion robbery in southern York County.
Paul Henry, 40, of Manchester, and Veronique Henry, 32, of York, are accused of entering a home in the 700 block of Brown Road in Fawn Township and fatally shooting 26-year-old Danielle E. Taylor of Spring Grove and 31-year-old Foday Cheeks, who lived in the home.
Police said four others were in the home Tuesday night, including a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy.
Witnesses told police that Danielle Taylor was making food while the others were playing video games. There was a loud bang from the kitchen and Cheeks was shot multiple times as he investigated the noise, according to a criminal complaint.
The witnesses said a man and a woman, both armed with handguns, then came into the living room, took their cell phones, and ordered them to keep their heads down. The pair then searched the house and at one point demanded to know where the drugs were kept.
One of the witnesses recognized Veronique Henry from a previous visit to the home, the complaint states.
Police were looking for Paul and Veronique Henry when a trooper spotted them Wednesday morning on a highway north of Harrisburg. A short pursuit on Route 22/322 was ended in the Duncannon area and the pair was arrested without incident.
Both are charged with two counts of criminal homicide and conspiracy, five counts of robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of burglary, four counts of simple assault, and two counts of theft.
