WASHINGTON (AP) – House Democrats are calling for a federal criminal investigation into an improper $25,000 donation Donald Trump’s charity made to a political group supporting Florida’s attorney general.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office had received complaints from former students of Trump University, claiming they had been scammed.

Bondi denies that Trump’s donation played any role in her decision not to sue Trump.

New York’s attorney general says his office has already been investigating the charity.
