Homicide arrest briefly closes part of Route 22/322 near Duncannon

DUNCANNON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say an incident that closed part of Route 22/322 for about an hour was the arrest of two suspects in a York County homicide.

Paul Henry, 40, of Manchester, and Veronique Henry, 32, of York, are accused of entering a home in the 700 block of Brown Road in Fawn Township and fatally shooting two people Tuesday night. Police identified the victims as 26-year-old Danielle E. Taylor of Spring Grove and 31-year-old Foday Cheeks, who lived in the home.

Police said a trooper spotted the pair on Route 22/322 and a short pursuit ended in the Duncannon area around 11:15 a.m. The suspects were arrested without incident.

Route 22/322 westbound was closed for about an hour between the Route 147 and Halifax exit, on the east side of the Clarks Ferry Bridge, and the Route 11/15 interchange.
