2 charged with slaying of 19-year-old in Lancaster Township

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have charged two Delaware men with a fatal shooting in Lancaster Township last year.

Rashan A. Ross, 26, of Wilmington, and Kareem D. Ross, 23, of Newark, were charged Tuesday with criminal homicide, robbery, conspiracy and theft, police said.

The pair is accused of shooting 19-year-old Jared Weaver in the parking lot of a business in the 1000 Block of East King Street. Weaver died Sept. 26 from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police said the shooting occurred during a drug sale.

The suspects are awaiting extradition to Lancaster County.
