Suspect arrested for robbery of KFC in Lebanon

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – One of two men wanted for the robbery of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the city last year is in police custody.

Damien Gilmore, 21, was arrested after a traffic stop this week in Jackson, Mississippi, police said. His extradition to Pennsylvania is expected this month.

Gilmore and 21-year-old Deandre Moore are accused of robbing the KFC in the 1500 block of Cumberland Street on Aug. 5, 2015.

The manager told investigators that two men entered the restaurant at closing time and demanded cash from the registers and safe. No weapons were displayed and the manager was not injured.

Police are still looking for Moore. They believe he fled to the St. Louis, Missouri area.
