Guest robbed in room at Lancaster County hotel

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A New York woman told police she was robbed at gunpoint after answering a knock on her hotel room door.

East Lampeter Township said their initial investigation found the victim was targeted and the incident was not random.

The robbery occurred Wednesday night in the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway East.

The 54-year-old victim said she opened the door to a man with a handgun. She said he forced his way into the room and demanded money.

She was not injured.
