Suspect in custody after Lancaster stabbing

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster police have a man in custody after a deadly stabbing in the city.

According to 911 dispatch, it happened at around 9:38 p.m. near Beaver and Conestoga streets.

When they arrived, police found a 20-year-old man unresponsive on the ground.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Detectives say he was stabbed in the torso during an altercation.

Officials have not released the name of the victim or the man in custody.
