LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster County woman is charged after police say she passed two counterfeit $100 bills at a local business.
Anastasia Volland, 25, of Lititz, is accused of passing the fake bills on Aug. 18 and Aug. 19.
Northern Lancaster County Regional police said she purchased a total of $21.60 worth of food in exchange for counterfeit money.
The bills were found to be fake when the business made its deposit at a bank.
Volland is charged with forgery and theft by deception.
