Crews battle house fire in North Middleton Township

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Nearly a dozen agencies responded to an early morning house fire in Cumberland County.

It started just after 3:30 Tuesday morning along the first block of Kenwood Drive in North Middleton Township.

Crews say when they arrived at the scene the roof was engulfed in flames.

We’re told two people were inside when the fire started. Both were able to escape. The Red Cross is helping them.

Fire crews are working to determine a cause. They say the fire may have started in the back of the home.

A fire marshal is investigating.
