Cedar Cliff high school students head back after mold

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) — Tuesday is a second first day of school for students at Cedar Cliff High School.

Last week the school closed after mold was discovered on pipes in the West Shore Academy area of the high school. Upon further inspection, more mold was found in the main office areas and the school was closed for the remainder of the week.

On Monday, district officials said all other schools in the West Shore District were also tested and while the results from those schools are still pending, an unused room in the basement of Allen Middle School did have minor mold growth.

That room will be sealed off until crews remove the mold.

There’s no word when test results will be released.
