Man charged, woman injured in Lancaster shooting

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is facing several charges after police say he opened fire, shooting a woman in Lancaster early Saturday morning.

Police were responding to a shooting at the 200 block of N. Duke Street, near the Elks Club, around 3:45 Saturday morning, when they found a woman with a gunshot wound.

It is believed an argument broke out between several individuals. At that point, police say Angel Candelario, 25, began shooting.

The woman was taken to an area hospital, and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Candelario is facing several charges, including aggravated assault.
