A long wait for Nasir, who’s spent years in foster care. Nasir still hopes he will find his forever family. Nasir enjoys amusement parks. We met him at HersheyPark to catch up after sharing his story on abc27 a year ago.
Nasir has since graduated from high school and is working. Nasir would love to be a Navy Seal, but says his back-up plan is to be a nurse or work in security. Nasir loves sports and swimming. He hopes to go to Puerto Rico to hit the waves one day for some surfing fun. When it comes to his forever family. He hopes to find one who loves amusement parks too. “I like families that go to places like this the beach. ” Nasir said.
Even though Nasir is considered an adult, he still needs a forever family. His adoption worker, Karen Knodel, is working hard to find a family match for Nasir. ” I think all kids as they start to transition in adulthood begin to really realize the importance of having a family. Having that support . Having that place to go to for the holidays and just the support of being able to go own when the going gets tough.”
