GLEN ROCK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County woman was arrested after police say she broke into a neighbor’s home and threatened to harm her.

Melissa Silsley, 47, of Manheim Township, broke a back door window Thursday morning to get into the home in the 7600 block of Glenville Road, Southwestern Regional police said.

A mother and her four children, all aged 15 and younger, were in the home at the time and locked themselves into several rooms. Silsley tried to break down an interior door to get to the mother but was unsuccessful, police said.

The mother crawled out of a window to the roof and yelled for someone outside to call the police.

Silsley is charged with burglary, simple assault, and terroristic threats.

Police said the incident was the result of an ongoing dispute between her and the mother.
