YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say a spree of burglaries, thefts, and vandalism in Manchester Township over the last two days appears to be related.
Northern York County Regional police said a home in the 2500 block of Primrose Lane was burglarized Tuesday and two more were entered Wednesday in the 3100 block of Balsa Street. Electronics, tools, purses and cash were stolen while residents were in the houses.
A third Balsa Street homeowner reported their rear door screen was cut, but no one entered the occupied residence.
Also Tuesday, a home owner in the 1300 block of Garrison Drive had a kayak stolen from their garage while the door was open, and a golf cart was stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Detwiler Drive. Three mailboxes near the business were damaged, possibly using the stolen golf cart, police said.
An electric bicycle was stolen from an outdoor shed in the 3100 block of Sorrel Street.
Police reminded residents that if they see any suspicious people or activity, they should report it immediately.
