PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) – This is about as low as it gets.

Thieves stole a truck filled with special equipment for disabled veterans.

The theft happened as the Wounded Warrior Project was holding its annual Soldier Ride last weekend in Philadelphia.

The truck contained custom bicycles, specially made for disabled veterans.

The value of the equipment is $37,000.

Philadelphia-area police have contacted bike shops and are watching the web, trying to find the equipment before it’s resold.

They’re also looking for the stolen U-Haul truck with the Wounded Warrior logo.
