Volunteers help clean up Wildwood Park in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Tucked away in the hills and outskirts of Harrisburg is Wildwood Park.

It’s a great area to take a walk or hike while spotting countless species of flora and fauna.

To keep the area beautiful volunteers donated their time to work on enhancement projects to ensure families could keep enjoying nature.

Today they removed debris from boardwalks.

“If that debris isn’t removed, ten feet to the other side”, said P.T. Environment Educator Alex Moore.

Events are held all month.

If you would like to be a part of them, visit their website.
