Carlisle’s Clay Davidson shot an even par round on the Hershey East course Sunday to capture the annual Jake Gittlen Memorial Golf tournament. Davidson started the day at 6 under par and played a solid round to beat three other golfers by four shots. After playing in the tournament for three decades, it was Davidson’s first Gittlen championship.
The tournament raises money for cancer research in Hershey at the Jake Gittlen Cancer Institute. Over 25 million dollars has been donated over the 47 year period.
