Suspect sought in Lancaster bank robbery

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery Thursday.

The robbery happened at 2:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo on Manor Street.

Investigators said a suspect wrote a note to a teller demanding cash but took cash from a customer who was making a deposit.

Police said no one saw a weapon and the suspect ran out of the building to a silver car in the parking lot of the Greek Orthodox Church on Hershey Avenue.

A woman was driving the car, according to investigators.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s to 40s, approximately 6 feet tall with a husky build. He was wearing denim shorts and a gray hooded sweatshirt with the letters S.W.I on it.
