Police: Harrisburg man invaded home, robbed elderly victim

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A 22-year-old man was arrested after police said he broke into a city home, tackled an elderly resident, and stole a computer tablet from his hands.

Trelonnie Elliott is charged with burglary, robbery, and criminal mischief for the home invasion early Saturday in the 2200 block of North Third Street.

The 73-year-old victim told officers he heard a window break. He went to investigate and was knocked to the floor. He suffered multiple cuts to his head, right arm, and right leg during a struggle, police said.

Elliott fled the home but was arrested after a fight at a local bar. Police said the victim identified him about 15 minutes after the burglary.
