Police investigate possible child luring in Susquehanna Township

Harrisburg (WHTM) – Police in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County are investigating reports of a suspicious man offering a ride to a 14-year-old boy.

Police say the boy was on the 500 block of North Progress Avenue at around 7:05 Tuesday morning when the man in a pick-up truck approached him.  The boy ran away and was not injured.

Officers checked the area but were not able to find the vehicle.

The suspicious person is described as a heavy set white man in his 50s with gray hair and a bald spot on top.  He also had round black rimmed glasses. The vehicle he was driving is described as a red 1990s model Chevy pick-up truck with a standard cab.
