Harrisburg animal shelter searching for stolen dog

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a yellow Labrador retriever that was stolen from the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.

Staff at the animal shelter said they first discovered on Sunday that the male dog, Pac Sun, was missing.

Shelter officials said they are willing to avoid pursuing criminal charges if the dog, who is in need of special care, is returned safely in a timely manner.

Anyone with information on Pac Sun’s whereabouts is asked to call Swatara Township police at 717-564-3320, ext. 119.
