YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County man was arrested after state prosecutors said he was sharing child pornography online.
Benjamin Stahle, 26, of Springettsbury Township, is charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography, six counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Agents searched Stahle’s home after they found files on a sharing network that contained suspected child pornography. A computer seized from the home had multiple suspected images that will be analyzed, Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office said.
Stahle was released from custody after a bondsman posted a surety bond on his behalf. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 11.
