Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) has been offering the finest in classical ballet training for more than 60 years. Thousands of students have benefited from a curriculum focused on building technical strength, stamina and flexibility, and nurturing artistic development. Classes are held in Carlisle and Camp Hill.
CPYB’s program provides a balance of structure, learning and fun with a focus on preparing boys and girls to master foundational dance skills. It is more than a dance education. Young people develop an understanding for music and the arts, as well as learn valuable skills that last a lifetime: self-confidence, focus, determination.
Enrollment is now open for fall classes which begin on September 9.
For this year, CPYB has restructured programming for its youngest dancers. The Children’s Division will focus on introducing the school’s littlest dancers to the joy of ballet and is designed to create a bridge for boys and girls three to six years old to cross into CPYB’s proven ballet program, providing children with foundational ballet training based on CPYB’s recognized Teaching Syllabus©.
