TOWER CITY, Pa. (WHTM) – A black bear out for a morning roam looked as if it was waiting for a ride as it stood behind a guard rail in northern Dauphin County this morning.
Lee Dreisigacker of Tower City told ABC27 he snapped this photo Friday while driving on Clark’s Valley Road, just north of DeHart Dam in Rush Township.
Dreisigacker said the bear was about to climb over the guard rail as he approached. But the bruin waited in that comical pose, seemingly just watching the wheels go by, while Dreisigacker stopped and took the picture.
Dreisigacker said he continued on his way after photographing the bear, and the bear climbed over the guard rail and went about its day, as well.
