Lancaster teen victim of attempted luring

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster Police said a 14-year-old girl was approached by a man who tried to get her into his car.

Investigators said the man, in his 40s, approached the girl at 5:45 p.m. Monday while she was walking near Coral and Third Streets.

Police said the girl told the man she didn’t want to get in the car and she ran away, but he followed her for several blocks.

Investigators described the man as very thin, about 6’2″, and having bad, yellow teeth. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and ripped blue jeans.

The man’s car was described as an older model sedan, possibly a Buick LeSabre with a gold exterior, rusty rims, and a tan interior. He was last seen driving north on Ruby Street.
