Hazmat incident in Lebanon County

JONESTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — I-81 southbound reopened just after 10:00 Monday night after a hazmat incident near mile 86 in Lebanon County.

Sulfuric acid was reportedly leaking from a tractor-trailer, an emergency dispatcher said.

Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 5:30 p.m.

The incident caused delays for about five hours.
