Former Harrisburg City Councilman arrested in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) — Former Harrisburg City Councilman Brad Koplinski was arrested over the weekend in Philadelphia.

Koplinski is facing several charges, including burglary and criminal trespass, according to court documents.

It’s alleged that Koplinski unlawfully entered an unauthorized area inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center and took various items, including parking passes and food vouchers.

The incident reportedly took place on Saturday.

“I had a bit of a bumpy day earlier this week – but looking forward to a great convention in Philadelphia,” Koplinski told ABC 27’s Dave Marcheskie.
