DILLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Libre, the sick Boston Terrier puppy found on a farm in Lancaster County, has been adopted.
Janine Guido, the founder of Speranza Animal Rescue, told ABC27 News she will be adopting him.
Guido took over Libre’s care at the emergency vet and transferred him to the Dillsburg Veterinary Center. His condition has greatly improved there. He is now able to walk and eat on his own.
Guido says she has become attached to him and will take him home once he’s done with treatment in Dillsburg.
ABC27 News has a photographer headed to speak to Guido, and we’ll do a follow-up story with Libre later this week.
The Lancaster County SPCA says Libre’s mom, Carla, is now in a foster home. The breeder surrendered her to the shelter earlier this month. We are also following that story and will bring you updates.
