Suspect arrested for stabbing in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have arrested their suspect in a weekend stabbing incident.

Jonathan J. Cameron, 26, was arrested Monday shortly after police announced they were looking for him. He’s charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault in connection with the incident Sunday evening at the intersection of Lenox Lane and East Grant Street, city police said.

He was placed in the Lancaster County Prison on $1 million bail.

The victim was transported to a hospital after he was stabbed in the body and cut on the face.

Police said Cameron and the victim know each other and the assault was not a random attack.
